Tarab NYC community support groups provide a space for LGBTQ persons from the MENA region to process experiences in a safe space. Group discussion can foster support and develop ways of coping with struggles afflicting our community. Every discussion in the groups require confidentiality to ensure the privacy of those attending the group and the material shared.
For many years, the groups have been facilitated by Tarab NYC Board Member Wardeh Hattab, LCSW, in order to have more support groups, we are now recruiting community members to facilitate future support groups. Join us and become a support group facilitator.
