Why #CancelPinkwashing Still Matters: Queer Liberation vs. Zionist Distraction
Dive into the concept of pinkwashing, a tactic used to obscure Israeli militarism and occupation by presenting a narrow view of LGBT rights. This workshop will explore the history and impact of pinkwashing, differentiate between anti-Zionism and antisemitism, and provide strategies to resist pinkwashing in your community. Join us to build a critical understanding of how queer liberation intersects with anti-colonial and anti-occupation struggles. Facilitated by Bashar. January 24, 1:30PM – 2:45PM, Brasilia 6
