Security Culture This Saturday!

Know Your Rights – Protect Your Privacy

Our current world is especially not safe for those of us who carry an intersection of multiple marginalized identities in addition to being Muslim. On Saturday April 8, Muslim Law Students Association, National Lawyers Guild – New York City Chapter (NLG-NYC), Tarab NYC, OUTLAWS, in partnership with CUNY CLEAR invite you to attend Security Culture, a day long Know Your Rights conference for Muslims, people of color and allies who wish make their communities safer and more inclusive. We are asking for a donation of $20 or whatever you can afford to cover the expenses for the day. Food will be provided.

There will be a 3 Know Your Rights sessions that cover: Flying While Muslim, Interactions With Law Enforcement, and Charitable Giving. An emphasis will be put on digital security and best practices for personal and organizational safety.
