One of the most joyous days in the Islamic calendar, Eid al-Fitr, is a celebration that marks the end of Ramadan (a holy month of fasting observed by Muslims).   On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Tarab NYC extends warm wishes to its members and friends that are observing this special holiday.  We hope your Eid is full of friends, family, and sweets!  Happy Eid!

Tarab NYC – This Friday!

In just a few days, performances, music, hookah and dancing will fill up the Salon Rouge and Bedouin Lounge, upstairs at Madame X in the Village.  Mark Balahadia will be back to grace us with an amazing show around Midnight!  Madame X is located at  94 West Houston Street, on the north side between LaGuardia Place and Thompson Street.  Take the C,E to Spring Street; N,R to Prince Street; 1 to Houston; B,D,F to Broadway/Lafayette; or the M5, M21 bus.  Tell the door man you are there for Tarab or you may end up paying cover twice. Hookah Reservations are being taken now, $30 gets you a hookah to smoke (steam) and a space in the lounge, for you and 3 others, email contact@sogie.net to reserve yours by Thursday.

Tarab NYC – In Less Than Two Weeks at Madame X

Launch night was amazing! Just a month ago, performances, music and over 100 people packed the small, hot and fabulous Fairytails Lounge in Hell’s Kitchen. We have outgrown our first venue and have found the next place to take over, Madame X. In less than two weeks, on Friday, July 13th, Tarab NYC will be taking over the Salon Rouge and Bedouin Lounge, upstairs at Madame X.

Performers are being lined up and our new host Madame X is excited to have us!
