Tarab NYC Queer MENA Happy Hours provide space for LGBTQ MENA people and allies to gather, network, and build community. The focus of the happy hours change monthly and include drag shows, karaoke, open mics, dance parties, potlucks, & more.
This month, we are trying something new – the mic is yours! Do you sing, dance, play an instrument, write/recite poetry, tell stories, perform comedy, etc? Let us know when you register and you will have an opportunity to strut your stuff during our open mic happy hour. Please note, keeping the place “quiet” during a performance can be difficult in a space like this, but we will try our best. Performers will recieve a small gift, to be determined.
Music and dance breaks by DJ Fursa and as usual, a special “speed networking” break where you will have an opportunity to meet three new people.
Cost: $15 at Door, or register early for only $10 (free with membership)
