  for LGBTQ people from the SWANA (Southwest Asian 
 and North African) region\, also commonly referred
  to as MENA (Middle East and North Africa). The gr
 oup provides a welcoming and supportive space to c
 onnect with others\, share experiences\, discuss c
 hallenges\, and exchange strategies for navigating
  experiences that affect our community.</p><p>The 
 group is facilitated by one of Tarab NYC’s trained
  peer support facilitators and takes place at the 
 LGBT Center in Manhattan. This is a peer support g
 roup\, not a therapy or clinical treatment session
 . Our facilitators and organizers do not provide h
 ealthcare or mental health services\, and the grou
 p is not a substitute for professional care.</p><p
 ><span style="white-space:inherit\;font-style:inhe
 rit\;font-weight:inherit\;">If you have questions

 an. </li><li>Registration is required at least 24 
 hours in advance\, and attendance must be approved
  by the facilitator.<br></li><li>Please arrive no 
 later than 6:45 PM to minimize interruptions. Late
  arrivals may not be permitted to join once the di
 scussion is underway.</li><li>Participation is vol
 untary\, and participants are encouraged to share 
 only what they feel comfortable sharing. </li><li>
 We ask everyone to respect the privacy of others a
 nd keep personal information and experiences share
 d during the group confidential\, however we canno
 t guarantee absolute confidentiality.</li><li> Par
 ticipants may not record\, photograph\, or share i
 dentifying information about other attendees witho
 ut their explicit consent.</li><li>The discussion 
 is participant-led and may cover a range of topics
  and experiences. Please be respectful of differen
