Tarab NYC has officially been selected as a WorldPride 2019 | Stonewall 50 Working Grant recipient. Essentially we provide NYC Pride 15 volunteers at the Human Rights Conference held at on Tuesday, June 25th at New York Law School (185 West Broadway, New York, NY 10013).
Volunteers are needed for two shifts and the entire day - as a thank you for volunteering, you will recieve credit for a free one year Tarab NYC membership. Already a member? you can extend an additional year for free.
Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader (7:00AM to 5:00PM) will work together to make sure volunteers are organized and attend their shifts on time. Both roles will work together and be the main liason between conference organizers and Tarab NYC Volunteers
Tarab NYC Volunteers: Choose a shift of 7:00AM to 12:15PM or 11:45AM to 5:00PM - the Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader will ask you to do the following tasks:
Load in and set up the venue, placing any signage supplied by NYC Pride
Manage any deliveries that arrive at the site
Greet guests as they arrive, check and scan tickets, direct people to sessions, lunchroom, and restrooms
Sit in session rooms to ensure that speakers and sessions stay on time
Sit outside session rooms to ensure that no one enters once a session is in progress
Provide excellent customer service
Breakdown venue upon event conclusion
