One of the most joyous days in the Islamic calendar, Eid al-Fitr, is a celebration that marks the end of Ramadan (a holy month of fasting observed by Muslims).   On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Tarab NYC extends warm wishes to its members and friends that are observing this special holiday.  We hope your Eid is full of friends, family, and sweets!  Happy Eid!

PS: Don’t forget to join us for music, dancing, hookah, sun and fun as queer Arabs & SWANA’s (South West Asians and North Africans) take over the northern part of RIIS beach on Saturday, August 25th for Tarab On The Beach! Tarab On The Beach starts at noon and ends at sunset (around 8pm).  Bring a cooler with your favorite drinks and food or enjoy some of our offerings for a donation.  This event is free but does cost a bit to produce, a donation of $5 or more is welcomed and appreciated.  For directions via car or subway visit Google Maps .
